Szymon Stępniak is a Polish photographer, assistant, and digital operator based in Berlin. His fine arts, visual culture, and media studies background can be noticed in his conscious thinking about images. He grew up in Warsaw when the emergence of social movements created a setting for him to develop distinctive aesthetics: sometimes smooth and poetic, other times direct and rough or even vulgar.
